On Wednesday September 23, 2009 construction began on a tower for a new 50 kW wind turbine at the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, Saginaw Bay District Office located at 410 Ketchum St. in Bay City. Kent Power Inc. was contracted to erect the wind turbine which will produce approximately 30% of the office electricity.
